5 Questions with Anni Järviaho
1. Where were you/what did you do before working at Seriously?
Prior to Seriously, I handled HR operations for more than six years with a company called 3 Step IT. I’ve worked in HR my entire career and it’s been an amazing journey experiencing diverse professional environments where HR adds tremendous value.
2. What is your current role at Seriously?
I am the company’s first HR Director, which comes with interesting challenges that have been fun to solve! I build and develop HR processes, recruit talented new hires, develop the company culture, and support company employees and leaders, to name a few things.
3. What’s your favorite part about your job?
My favourite part of my job is the opportunity to be part of creating something unique and new at the company as the first HR Director. I have the privilege of working with really skilled, engaging people who set the bar high and constantly go above and beyond for the company’s success.
4. Who is your favorite Fiend or Slug and why?
This is a tough questions because I’m very fond of quite a few Fiends. But I would have to say Brittle, who looks very cute but is actually one tough cookie!
5. When you are not working at Seriously or playing Best Fiends, what do you enjoy doing?
There are two things that I’m really passionate about in my free time: playing and/or watching all kinds of sports and spending time with my dogs.
