Seriously’s Best Fiends Featured in Apple’s Games for (RED)
Seriously Enlists Justin Bieber and Others Influencers to Help Create an AIDS-free Generation
Venice, California & Helsinki, Finland – November 30, 2016 – Seriously, Apple and (RED) today announced their combined efforts to help create an AIDS-free generation with the #GamesForRED campaign. Seriously’s Best Fiends and Best Fiends Forever mobile games are featured in Games for (RED) to support (RED) in its mission. Apple and (RED) worked closely with ten developers across 20 popular games to launch Games for (RED), available exclusively on the App Store.
“At Seriously, we are committed to doing the right thing,” said Andrew Stalbow, Co-founder and CEO, Seriously. “We are thrilled to have Best Fiends and our recently launched Best Fiends Forever participate in Games for (RED) to help support this important cause in observance of World AIDS Day on December 1st.”
Both Seriously’s Best Fiends and Best Fiends Forever will feature limited-edition, custom (RED) content with all proceeds from the associated in-app purchases going to (RED)’s Global Fund. The update will run from November 30 – December 6, 2016.
Additionally, Seriously has enlisted singer and songwriter Justin Bieber, as well as a number of YouTube stars, including Dan and Phil, to help support the campaign and encourage their fans to play Best Fiends and Best Fiends Forever by sharing videos and posts on their YouTube and social channels.
In Best Fiends, players can purchase the game’s red Fiends, including a brand new hero, the SUPER RARE FIEND Bam, with all proceeds going directly to (RED)’s fight against AIDS. In Best Fiends Forever, players can purchase the special Slap Damage boost or the unique (FOREVER)RED Bundle in-game, which includes a unique Souvenir, (THE RED HERO!), a special 2x damage bonus to all red Fiends, and limited-edition Stickers with all proceeds going to the fight against AIDS.
