Mobile start-up Seriously reveals first look at “Best Fiends” property and initial game
Seriously™, a mobile entertainment start-up, today released a first look at its new Best Fiends™ property and the first game designed to be developed into a global franchise. The Best Fiends mobile game is a visually stunning puzzler that ties together timeless storytelling and character development with built-in elements of strategy and skill. Launching today, the Best Fiends website features an introduction to the new property, including the game’s premise, character photos and descriptions, as well as a visual peek into the development of the property. Best Fiends launches worldwide in October and will be free to download with in-app purchase options.
Founded by a team of industry veterans and headed by former Rovio executives Andrew Stalbow and Petri Järvilehto, Seriously brings together a world-class in-house creative studio of mobile gaming and design experts. Together, the team has worked on games that have over two billion downloads at companies such as Natural Motion, RedLynx, Disney, Remedy, Fox, and Rovio.
Seriously has also partnered with some of the industry’s best entertainment talent to build out it global franchise, including music from composer Heitor Pereira(Despicable Me, Minion Movie), Pilot Studio a brand and visual development agency (Transformers, Star Wars) and Soren Fleng for the Copenhagen Bombayproduction of the first Best Fiends animated short (Angry Birds Toons, Subway Surfers).

In Best Fiends, players will discover the world of Minutia and its population of cute, courageous and increasingly fiendish inhabitants as they work to collect them all and level them up to gain special powers. Best Fiends is the first in a series of games, telling the story of these heroes’ epic journey, and their battle against the voracious Slugs of Mount Boom.

In addition to the Best Fiends mobile game, Seriously will also be launching animated shorts, original music, making of videos, limited edition artwork, a brand book and stickers for messenger apps in partnership with distributor Swyft Media (formerly known as Textpride).
