*Although Seriously discloses all of the categories above for business purposes, Seriously is not in the business of selling personal information about our players. Yet, Seriously permits, under cerein legal and technical limitations, certain third-party advertising partners to collect information about our players through our games and our website for purposes of serving ads that are more relevant, for ad campaign measurement and analytics, and for ad fraud detection and reporting. To the extent this practice is considered a “sale” under the CCPA, please see our Online Advertising section below for more information.

As described in the Privacy Policy, we share personal information within Seriously group of companies and with a variety of recipients for business purposes.

In addition to the categories of recipients identified in the Who Does Seriously Share My Personal Information With? section of the Privacy Policy, we disclose personal information to, or allow access to personal information by, the following categories of recipients:

  • Cloud Storage Providers
  • Payment and Auditing Processors
  • Security Safety Vendors and Service Providers
  • Customer Service Vendors

Online Advertising

Third-party advertising partners collect the categories of personal information we described above for online advertising purposes. These are ad networks, social media companies and other third-party businesses in the ad ecosystem. They collect personal information directly from a browser or device. This is done through cookies or similar tracking technologies when a player visits or interacts with our websites, uses our apps or otherwise engages with us online. The information collected is used to:

  • serve relevant ads;
  • personalize content; and
  • perform other advertising-related services such as reporting, analytics and attribution.

These third parties may use this personal information for their own commercial purposes. These practices are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties.

Financial Incentives

In certain games we offer a nominal in-game virtual currency and virtual rewards to players when they choose to watch in-game video advertisements, connect with their Facebook account or share their game progress on their social media platforms. The amount or nature of the financial incentive will be specified in each instance at the time the personal information is to be submitted. You can opt into the financial incentive by submitting the personal information. If you wish to opt-out of the financial incentive, send your request by contacting us at privacy@seriously.com.

Seriously and its advertising partners use the information collected to serve the Player with more relevant ads when a player decides to receive the in-game virtual currency or virtual rewards. Video and other relevant advertisements help support the game’s operation. A Player is not obliged to watch the video ads or connect his/ hers Facebook account to play in any of Seriously games.

Each financial incentive related to submission and use of consumer personal information is based upon our reasonable but sole determination of the estimated value of such information, which takes into consideration, without limitation, estimates regarding the anticipated revenue generated from such information, the anticipated expenses which might be incurred in the collection, storage, and use of such information in the operation of our business, and other relevant factors related to the estimated value of such information to our business, as permitted under the CCPA.

How to Exercise Your California Privacy Rights

You have two different ways to exercise your California rights under the CCPA:

Submit your request in the privacy category via the “Support section” within the game. This is the preferred way for us to conduct proper verification, or Submit an email at privacy@seriously.com

We will need to verify your identity before processing your request. In order to verify your identity, we will generally either require the successful login to your account or the matching of sufficient information you provide us to the information we maintain about you in our systems

Although we try to limit the personal information collected in connection with a request to exercise the right to know and the right to deletion to that personal information,ƒ certain requests may require us to obtain additional personal information from you. In certain circumstances, we may decline a request to exercise the right to know and right to deletion, particularly where we are unable to verify your identity.

We may update this Notice from time to time. When we make changes to this Notice, we will change the “Last Updated” date at the beginning of this Notice. If we make material changes to this Notice, we will notify you by email to your registered email address, by prominent posting on our online services, or through other relevant communication channels.
