Scope of Notice
This California Online Privacy Protection Act Notice (“Notice”) provides additional information to our Privacy Policy about how we collect, use, disclose and otherwise process personal information of our users (“consumers“, “players” or “you“) who are individual residents of the State of California, either online or offline, within the scope of the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA“).
Unless otherwise expressly stated, all terms in This Notice have the same meaning as defined in our Privacy Policy or as otherwise defined in the CCPA.
Collection and Use of Personal Information
“Personal Information” in this Notice, refers to any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a certain consumer or household.

*Although Seriously discloses all of the categories above for business purposes, Seriously is not in the business of selling personal information about our players. Yet, Seriously permits, under cerein legal and technical limitations, certain third-party advertising partners to collect information about our players through our games and our website for purposes of serving ads that are more relevant, for ad campaign measurement and analytics, and for ad fraud detection and reporting. To the extent this practice is considered a “sale” under the CCPA, please see our Online Advertising section below for more information.
To Whom We Disclose Personal Information
As described in the Privacy Policy, we share personal information within Seriously group of companies and with a variety of recipients for business purposes.
In addition to the categories of recipients identified in the Who Does Seriously Share My Personal Information With? section of the Privacy Policy, we disclose personal information to, or allow access to personal information by, the following categories of recipients:
Online Advertising
Third-party advertising partners collect the categories of personal information we described above for online advertising purposes. These are ad networks, social media companies and other third-party businesses in the ad ecosystem. They collect personal information directly from a browser or device. This is done through cookies or similar tracking technologies when a player visits or interacts with our websites, uses our apps or otherwise engages with us online. Financial Incentives
In certain games we offer a nominal in-game virtual currency and virtual rewards to players when they choose to watch in-game video advertisements, connect with their Facebook account or share their game progress on their social media platforms. The amount or nature of the financial incentive will be specified in each instance at the time the personal information is to be submitted. You can opt into the financial incentive by submitting the personal information. If you wish to opt-out of the financial incentive, send your request by contacting us at privacy@seriously.com.
Seriously and its advertising partners use the information collected to serve the Player with more relevant ads when a player decides to receive the in-game virtual currency or virtual rewards. Video and other relevant advertisements help support the game’s operation. A Player is not obliged to watch the video ads or connect his/ hers Facebook account to play in any of Seriously games.
Each financial incentive related to submission and use of consumer personal information is based upon our reasonable but sole determination of the estimated value of such information, which takes into consideration, without limitation, estimates regarding the anticipated revenue generated from such information, the anticipated expenses which might be incurred in the collection, storage, and use of such information in the operation of our business, and other relevant factors related to the estimated value of such information to our business, as permitted under the CCPA.
How to Exercise Your California Privacy Rights
You have two different ways to exercise your California rights under the CCPA:
Submit your request in the privacy category via the “Support section” within the game. This is the preferred way for us to conduct proper verification, or Submit an email at privacy@seriously.com
We will need to verify your identity before processing your request. In order to verify your identity, we will generally either require the successful login to your account or the matching of sufficient information you provide us to the information we maintain about you in our systems
Although we try to limit the personal information collected in connection with a request to exercise the right to know and the right to deletion to that personal information,ƒ certain requests may require us to obtain additional personal information from you. In certain circumstances, we may decline a request to exercise the right to know and right to deletion, particularly where we are unable to verify your identity.
Updates
We may update this Notice from time to time. When we make changes to this Notice, we will change the “Last Updated” date at the beginning of this Notice. If we make material changes to this Notice, we will notify you by email to your registered email address, by prominent posting on our online services, or through other relevant communication channels. All changes shall be effective from the date of publication unless otherwise provided in the notification.
