5 Questions with Nicole Sandoval

1. Where were you/what did you do before working at Seriously?
In school, I studied 3D animation and modeling for film, but after graduation, I ended up working in digital marketing back in Texas before moving to Finland. I worked in data management for a while, but, having always been an avid gamer, I became very interested in working in the gaming industry. That’s how I ended up at Seriously!

2. What is your current role at Seriously?
I work as a Player Support Specialist. In general, the player support team responds to players’ questions and feedback about Best Fiends like  lost progress, purchasing problems, technical issues with different devices, and tips for passing levels. The player support team also acts as an interface between the players and the development teams. We share the feedback that we receive from players to help the development team improve the playability and functionality of the games.

3. What’s your favorite part about your job?
I really enjoy working with a group of passionate people that care about the work they do. I also love to help people! There’s nothing more satisfying than our players saying that we were able to solve their issues.

4. Who is your favorite Fiend or Slug and why?
My favorite Fiend is probably Wu! He seems very chill, and kung fu is awesome. Also, tarsiers are such cute animals in real life!

5. When you are not working at Seriously or playing Best Fiends, what do you enjoy doing?
Aside from playing video games, I’m really into fitness, music, and cats. When I’m not at the gym or out exploring Helsinki, I’m usually at home hanging out with my two cats or playing bass with my band.
