Based in Helsinki, Petri is responsible for product and content development. Formerly EVP Games at Rovio, and Co-Founder and Creative Director at Remedy.
As the SVP of Design, Reko has spent over a decade designing games. His previous work includes NaturalMotion, Remedy, Digital Chocolate and Bugbear where he worked on multitude of original IP such as Clumsy Ninja, Quantum Break, Alan Wake and Army Attack.
With over 30 shipped titles on 10+ platforms Peter has a vast amount of experience leading uncompromising Quality Assurance on games reaching hundreds of millions of downloads. His background includes leading QA teams at Rovio and Digital Chocolate.
Izzy is a Product Lead in the Finnish office. Formerly from NaturalMotion, Izzy has experience with developing AAA titles for mobile. Izzy has also worked at Blitz Games Studios and fish in a bottle, entering the games industry through PR.
As lead character designer, Miguel is responsible of creating and bringing to life all the characters of Best Fiends brand. With more than 25 years of experience, his previous work include the role of lead character designer for Angry Birds, storyboards and character design for tv series, comic books or creativity and storyboards for Nesquik brand.
Lauri lives and breathes games; he is known for his wide knowledge and experience of all things gaming. As an Associate Producer, Lauri coordinates testing and content development in order to maximise the quality of the game. Lauri comes from a QA background at Rovio where he helped ship multiple titles.
Simo, as a lead designer, has developed a keen vision for quality and gameplay. He started his career at Rovio and worked on numerous titles as lead designer and level designer. His most prominent releases include Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds Star Wars.
Formerly from Rocket Pack (acquired by The Walt Disney Company), Petri has experience on game and concept art for both social and mobile games. In addition to his extensive 2D/3D visual skillset, he is also a highly competent technical artist experienced with various game development tools and engines.
Before joining Seriously Sami learned his trade by working as a lead developer in various indie studios, shipping titles on both web and mobile platforms. His career also includes a stint as a senior developer at Rovio Entertainment, where he worked on web-based Angry Birds titles.
Harri is responsible for finance of the Seriously game studio in Finland. With more than 20 years of experience in different roles of finance, Harri has worked in companies as e.g. Arthur Andersen, Deloitte and Futuremark.
James is responsible for brand awareness and product engagement at Seriously. He has over 8 years experience in the gaming industry and most recently comes from Maker Studios managing influencer projects.
Based in Los Angeles, Chris is responsible for user acquisition and monetization at Seriously. He has over 8 years of experience in marketing, most recently at social casino developer Monarc Gaming Labs. Matriculated at The University of Michigan.
Before joining Seriously Tero worked as a lead developer in various indie studios, shipping titles on both web and mobile platforms. He has also worked in developing cloud services for Rovio Entertainment.
10+ years experience in the games industry brought Petter to Seriously. He has great knowledge in art with attention to both the visual and the technical aspects working on AAA, social and mobile games. Art Director, Lead level designer, Senior environment artist, Technical art director and Audio director are a few of his previous roles in the industry. Petter also has 15+ years experience in music, audio and video production and can back it up with previous freelance endeavours.
Johannes entered the games industry as an indie web game developer with 15+ published titles reaching tens of millions of players. At Rovio he worked as programmer on Angry Birds as well as other titles in development.
Ville started his career as a 3d artist, working for TV & Film post production. After moving on to being a animation producer and having produced video content from 5 second teasers to 31-episode CGI animations, he has a good idea of how things work starting from the first idea to final delivery.
Sami has a strong background as a level designer with experience of 3D animation and visualisation. He has worked as a level and game designer for various Angry Birds titles at Rovio. Most recently he led the design for Angry Birds Star Wars II.
With 17+ years of experience as programmer, Sami has a wide array of skills from different environments. He has background in web games and worked with several shipped games at Playforia.
Vilma is a versatile game artist who also has experience as an indie developer. Before joining the team at Seriously, she studied Game Graphics in Belgium, extending her 2D skills to 3D and technical art.
As an autodidact Oskar got into game development from an early age, releasing a number of indie titles. He got his first experience at professional development at Rovio working on Angry Birds Friends and other projects. At Seriously he’s gotten to try his hand on a variety of tasks and technologies, from analytics and data parsing to game development and server programming.
As the Financial Manager Mikael is making sure everything runs smooth. He dabbles with anything related to spreadsheets. Previously Mikael has worked at related tasks in firms like Nokia and UPM-Kymmene as well as some of the most exciting up-and-coming brands as Hello Ruby children’s coding book.
Emma has a background in teaching but luckily found her way to the game industry through working at Neogames. She loves organizing things, excel and cakes.
Tuomo (better known by his nickname Käly) has been doing video productions for a living from 2006. Ever since he has worked on hundreds of promo trailers and several series productions for both broadcasting and gaming industry. Most recently he was a Head of Compositing department and a Creative Supervisor at the Rovio Animation Studios.
Anastasia joined Seriously as a Player Support Specialist and since then grew into a position of Data Analyst. Besides her responsibilities in Data Analysis, she continues to build and engage the Russian VK community with more than 100K fans.
Computer science student armed with a lifelong passion for games and ever-growing appreciation for game development.
Before joining Seriously, Tomi was working as Cinematographer in various TV/Film/Media productions. Tomi has always been a passionate gamer and has developed sharp eye for detail.
Previously working in game and advertising industries Kaisa has strong experience and skills as an artist and visual designer. She’s passionate about UI and UX design as well as art and illustration in general.
Based in the Los Angeles office, Andrew is Senior Graphic Artist to the marketing, community and business development team, with a focus on social media and brand marketing.
Robert is a data scientist based in the Los Angeles office. Most recently he was head of analytics at Monarc Gaming Labs, has a Ph.D. in mathematical statistics from Uppsala University in Sweden, and have also held research positions in Reykjavik and Melbourne universities.
Previously at NaturalMotion Games, Rion has spent 6 years in mobile games, working on several AAA mobile titles providing live ops and platform support.
Scott came to us from fish in a bottle where he gained 5 years experience creating art for games developed for both mobile and web. This gave him a solid understanding of technical abilities of mobiles and what they’re capable in order to create the best visual experience for the player possible.
Timo has been working in games for over 14 years in various roles in various companies, such as Digital Chocolate, Rovio and EA. He is enthusiastic about server programming and enjoys designing and implementing scalable, efficient, maintainable and cost effective game server architectures.
Antti is a passionate and analytical game designer with background from both mobile games and board games. As an active member of the game industry, he became a co-founder of the IGDA Jyväskylä chapter and a startup called Zaibatsu Interactive. After finding his calling in the art of level design, Antti moved to Helsinki and worked with startups like PlayRaven before joining Seriously.
Architect, turned Game Designer. When she is not creating content for Best Fiends, Athina studies Game Design in Aalto University, takes part in Game Jams and plays all types of games.
Lifelong passion for games led Tomi from playing games into volunteering for Gameforge for over 6 years, and eventually to Seriously. Tomi comes with a positive attitude and he loves to laugh.
Xiaxin is a data scientist based in the Los Angeles office. Most recently she was data scientist leading business intelligence development and analysis at Golden Rat Studios, has a Ph.D. in applied econometrics from Clark University in Massachusetts, US.
Alex is responsible for mobile growth acquisition at Seriously. He has over 7 years experience in the gaming industry and previously managed performance marketing campaigns at Tencent, nWay, and PlayQ.
Claudia is responsible for producing the award-winning Best Fiends animated shorts. With over 17 years experience in animation, Claudia has previously worked on pop culture hits such as The Simpsons and Futurama.
When Sergei chose his master’s work project to develop a game, he did not yet know what that would mean for him. Several years later, he joined the Seriously team with more than 15 successful projects and work experience at Electronic Arts and New Cloud Technologies LTD. He likes traveling, playing on the harmonica and working with talented people.
Yasin has a M.Sc. degree in quantitative finance with a focus on econometrics at the Vienna University of Economics. He joined the industry at Sproing Interactive Media during his master studies, where he worked on Angry Birds Holiday, Nonstop Chuck Norris and Asterix & Friends. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar and computer games.
Ramon is on the finance team at Seriously where his main focus is financial planning and analysis and generating business insights that support strategic decisions. Previously, he held roles in business development at Sony Pictures Entertainment and investment banking at BTG Pactual. Ramon is an outdoor sports enthusiast and enjoys biking, skiing, and scuba diving.
Merlin originally studied Art and Design, but an iPad, Temple Run and course full of competing students led him into the world of mobile games. Before Seriously Merlin worked on various titles at Berlin based studio Wooga. Most recently as a Game- and Level Designer on Bubble Island 2.
He chose to leave the techno capital in favour of the mobile games epicenter of the world; Helsinki.
Carlos studied a degree in Business Administration and a double degree in Economics and Statistics. Then he worked for 3 years in 2 mobile app start-ups in Barcelona. His hobbies are strategy and RPG video games, metal music, tabletop role-playing games and hitting the gym now and then.
Jamie, an East Coast transplant now living in the Hills of LA, retired from Fox in 2016 after spending 25 years in many legal capacities, including heading legal and business affairs for Fox Consumer Products, Fox Interactive, General Counsel for Fox Mobile and Jamba/Jamster, and Fox Cable Networks working in digital law and ad sales legal oversight. She is also the proud mother of one wonderful grown son and the shameful mother of five misbehaving dachshunds.
Jukka-Pekka – or as fiends call him JP – likes to play strategy games, board games and tabletop RPGs. He’s also a deep thinker and likes to ponder stuff. Before joining Seriously he worked in QA at Housemarque.
Erno is a longtime Best Fiends player, boosted with logical thinking and artistic soul.
Before joining Seriously, Erno has been working as an illustrator, graphic designer, photo- and videographer/editor. Now on his free time he is creating art without boundaries and rules.
