Seriously announces new funding, bringing total raised to $10M

Finnish Game Developer of the Year poised to redefine mobile entertainment

Today at SLUSH, Se­ri­ously, the cre­ators of the award win­ning hit game Best Fiends, an­nounced $5M ad­di­tional fund­ing raised from ex­ist­ing in­vestors, ahead of com­menc­ing a Se­ries A round in the new year, bring­ing the com­pany’s total fund­ing to ten mil­lion dol­lars.

“We’ve been thrilled with the re­ac­tion to our first title,” said An­drew Stal­bow, CEO. “The ad­di­tional fund­ing gives us extra fire­power to ex­tend our tal­ented team of 13 peo­ple as we take our strat­egy of cre­at­ing global en­ter­tain­ment brands ‘mo­bile first’ to a new level.”

Founded in Au­gust 2013, Se­ri­ously’s debut title is a super ad­dic­tive puz­zle game that in­tro­duces the story of Best Fiends and their jour­ney through the world of Minu­tia to de­feat the Slugs of Mount Boom. Se­lected by Apple as the ‘Best Of Oc­to­ber 2014’, the game is avail­able for iOS de­vices glob­ally. In ad­di­tion, the sec­ond title in the Best Fiends tril­ogy will be re­leased in 2015.
