5 Questions with Hazel Kavili
1. Where were you/what did you do before working at Seriously?
I was working at Wixot as a Data Analyst before joining Seriously. We made word puzzle games and I helped develop Word Farm and Word Search Colourful.
2. What is your current role at Seriously?
I work as Data Analyst on an upcoming Best Fiends title. I am responsible for finding and applying useful insights from numbers and data to make our game better. My day-to-day often involves creating charts and dashboards to support my colleagues.
3. What’s your favorite part about your job?
The project I’m working on is a new game and I love seeing it grow every day. For me, it is extremely fulfilling to see the impacts of small changes that we made by using data. I am very happy to be part of the team.
4. Who is your favorite Fiend or Slug and why?
I have been a huge Harry Potter fan since my childhood and Howie reminds me of that magical world. I really love Howie’s style.
5. When you are not working at Seriously or playing Best Fiends, what do you enjoy doing?
Since I moved to Helsinki, I am trying a bunch of new things, like learning the Lindy Hop dance and running. I also love going to concerts and am learning to play the harmonica, too!
